Access basics
Route access is about safety, conservation and keeping the trip moving
The access rules are there to protect the forest and make the visit smoother for everyone. If your vehicle, guide and route all line up, the day becomes much easier.
Rough tracks
The roads are forest tracks, not city roads. Heavy 4WD capability is strongly recommended because the ground can be uneven and rough.
Certified guide required
You are legally required to travel with a certified local nature guide in your vehicle. Guide fees are paid separately at the gate.
Keep to the route
The reserve works best when vehicles stay on the specified roads and tracks and follow the guide's instructions exactly.
